Auspack Plus 2013 Success: Blue ladies are back!

Le Mac’s Blue Haired Ladies strutted their stuff in the halls of the Sydney Showground last week, promoting the company’s stand at the biennial Auspack Plus exhibition from May 7 to 10.

The tradeshow, which is held alternately in Sydney and Melbourne, drew the most visitors in a decade in Sydney, and hosted the greatest number of exhibitors in its history.

Planet Le Mac was an explosion of colour, featuring some of the company’s latest labelling successes. The rebranded V8 Fruit & Vegetable Juices and Latina Fresh Ready Meals heavy gauge tray sleeves decorated the shelves, while walls were decked with POTentials pot plant sleeves, linerless point of sale banners, and digitally-printed pouch packs.

Taking centre stage was Le Mac’s LSL 500 machine demonstrating the “slide sleeve”, a new innovation in heavy-gauge linerless labels, designed to replicate the look of premium carton sleeves on ready meals and premium meat packs.

Standing tall and sexy at the entrance were Le Mac’s Pole Dancers – digitally-printed point of sale advertising products for bollards and retail security gates – resulting in a very vibrant, very cosy arena.

With the Le Mac stand located at the far end of the halls, the Blue Haired Ladies roamed the venue, directing visitors to their distant blue planet in the corner of the Auspack universe.

The Le Mac team had an excellent time and appreciated visits from all its customers, old and new!
